Arrivato a Firenze!

Spent my morning at our hotel in Munich trying to figure out how to add a blog to my website. Spoiler alert: I think I got it! Meanwhile, Gwyn took a long walk down to the Isar River because she can't stop moving. Breakfast was great—bread, cheese, meats, and awesome coffee. Euro breakfasts are so good they might just make me abandon my intermittent fasting.

We recently finished binge-watching a silly dramatic period show on Netflix called "Medici" or something like that. We watched it mainly to see the Piazza della Signoria on repeat while they drove carriages around in circles, complete with extras who either cheered or booed the Medici's depending on their mood. And guess what? That very piazza is right outside our door!
