After an incredible 3 months at our house in Fernie, B.C., we made our way back to home in Bozeman, MT. We spent a week getting everything ready for our next big adventure to Italy, France, Nepal, and Bhutan! Gwyn even managed to slip in a trip to Denver to go dress shopping with Tegan for her wedding next year, and they found a dress she absolutely loves!

The trip kicked off with a bit of a hiccup due to the usual weather challenges in Denver. Our flight from Bozeman to Denver was delayed, and our flight from Denver to Munich was delayed by an hour and a half, which caused us to miss our connecting flight to Florence.

But it all turned out great, thanks to the fantastic customer service from Lufthansa! They rebooked us for the next day (today) and even arranged a hotel for us in Munich. We got to do some classic tourist activities, visiting Marienplatz, where we were greeted by a dozen Asian women performing dance routines to K-Pop—typical influencer fun!

It was amazing to hang out and brush up on my German after living here 37 years ago as a graduate student at Ludwig-Maximilians University. We enjoyed some traditional food and explored the city quite a bit. Absolutely love Munich!
